Bob Jacobs joined Geneva Group in 1998 to bolster the firm's focus on early-stage software engineering search activities. With over twenty years of experience he has helped build software development teams for some of the Silicon Valley's most successful companies.
Sun Microsystems, Western Digital Imaging, Oracle Corporation, Sybase, Cisco Systems, Netscape, Yahoo, Open Wave, Salesforce.com, and MySQL are just a few of the organizations he has assisted.
His searches have run the gamut from Founding and Lead Architects to CTO's and VP's of Engineering. He has also successfully completed numerous VP's of Marketing, Operations and Sales searches.
Mr. Jacobs received his B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Oswego. He continued on at the same institution to acquire Masters in Political Science and History as well as teach Russian Intellectual History prior to embarking on his career as a professional software recruiter.
