Dennis Hall joined the partnership over ten years ago. Based in the UK, he is responsible for all search activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. After qualifying with a Hugher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, he started his career as a design engineer with Rank Xerox Ltd.  He moved into sales and sales management with Rank Xerox before entering the computer industry with ADP Network Services and then, Computer Management Group. With both companies he held sales management positions concentrating on Banking and Finance within the city of London. He was particularly successful in opening the Commodity Broker market in conjunction with Rolph and Nolan, a specialty software house.

He started his own consultancy in 1976, DGH Management and Recruitment Consultants, with offices located in Hatton Garden and Gower Street London.  In addition to running his consultancy, Dennis started a specialist network design and installation company that used fiber-optic technology, HY-COM Peripherals Ltd.  HY-COM Peripherals Ltd focused on dealer rooms within International Banks and worked closely with information providers, e.g. Reuters, Telerate, AP Dow Jones and completed many projects for such organizations such as; Chase Manhattan Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, Midland Bank, National Westminster, Goldman Sachs, Bear Sterns, Drexall Burnham, Citi Bank, and Cantor Fitzgerald.

Dennis has a breadth of management skills and has held non-executive Directorships at the IBM software House and with the Lloyds of London Insurance Brokers. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing and a member of the Institute of Directors.
